Lan Fan had finally returned from a long trip that she was sent away for a few weeks to complete a task Fu had given her. It felt like an eternity that she was away from the playful atmosphere that Ling always made when he was around her. She felt a huge relief that she was going to see the prince again after so long. Her whole trip she had to keep herself serious to get the mission done without any errors.  Lan Fan let out a long, exhausted sigh as she walked down a long alley to meet her grandfather and the prince. She continued walking as she felt the trace of Ling’s chi nearing by; what didn’t seem right was that Fu’s chi was moving further away as she got closer.
